The honey of kings in a mini premium* section is an exceptional product. Made in the wild by bees, without any human intervention. Very rare product, intended for true honey lovers. Offered in pieces of approximately 390-410 g each. By tasting it, you will fully appreciate its sublime and very delicate taste. Subject to availability: Rosemary honey from Provence, Lavender from the Lubéron park, TF all flowers from Provence, harvested in France - in a mini comb in its wooden frame.

All our premium comb honey pieces are made in the wild by bees. The absence of metal wire and embossed wax sheet gives you unparalleled pleasure when biting into it. Premium product, very high quality and very rare. To be sure that you are buying quality comb honey, you need to look at four things:

1. the wooden frame must be new and natural in color (it turns black when used several times and years in a row),

2. There must not be a metal wire passing in the middle of the spoke,

3. Inside the shelf, there must not be an embossed sheet of wax (if there is one you will feel the “ball of wax in the mouth” effect) when consuming it

4. the small cells of the frame must be filled and level at least 90%, or even 100%.

WHAT IS KINGS’ HONEY?

It is said that “He who has not bitten into a bee comb does not know the true taste of honey!” » and that anyone who has never bitten into the honeycomb of Kings does not yet have sufficiently educated taste buds.

The entire piece weighs approximately 0.37-0.43 kg.

However, honey on the shelf has become very rare and few of us have been able to have the unique pleasure of biting into cells of white wax and feeling the virgin honey escaping from them in the mouth, causing an explosion of flavors. Let us briefly recall how the honey that we are used to consuming in jars is produced. On harvest day, the frames in which the bees have built wax cells and stored the honey are brought to the honey house. The frame is then uncapped: this involves opening the small cells of honey that the bees have closed to better preserve it.

Why is on-shelf honey an exceptional product?

Just because Honey on the shelf does not undergo any destructive operations described previously: no mechanical shock, no thermal shock: it thus fully retains all its flavor but also all its nutritional qualities.
