Precautions for use of ORGANIC Propolis Mother Tincture .
Quite similar to a food supplement, propolis has the advantage of having no toxicity threshold. * **
Warning:
Due to the risk of developing sensitivity and then an allergy to bee products, taking propolis daily, without real necessity, is not recommended. It seems necessary to favor one-off treatments, from a minimum of three weeks to a maximum of three months. Using standardized commercial preparations allows you to evaluate your personal consumption, even if the absorption of large doses does not present any toxicity. According to the precautionary principle, propolis should not be given to pregnant women and children under 3 years old. * **
Recognized benefits:
The anti-infectious virtues of propolis and the benefits of its disinfectant action have been proven. Its antibiotic properties make it an ally in the fight against all infections and virally transmitted diseases: colds, flu, sore throats, bronchitis or tonsillitis. Its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving powers relieve patients suffering from chronic coughs, laryngitis, rhinitis and otitis. Its antifungal action promotes the elimination of germs and fungi.* **
Propolis research:
According to a 2012 study from the University of Chicago, propolis contains a caffeic acid phenethyl ester compound (CAPE), whose anti-mitogenic properties could slow the growth of cancer cells, particularly in the prostate. Other research focuses on its use during chemotherapy, to alleviate side effects. The results obtained in Japan, by Mizukami (Japanese oncologist), show a clear slowing down of the destruction of white blood cells and platelets as well as a real stimulation of immunity, allowing faster healing.
